Our Story

We established Nonprofit Solutions Group with the belief that every nonprofit organization and church congregation deserves the support that comes from wise counsel and professional guidance.

The Distinctive Difference of Nonprofit Solutions Group (NSG):

Our services are affordable. We established Nonprofit Solutions Group with the belief that every nonprofit organization and church congregation deserves the support that comes from wise counsel and professional guidance.

What about the NPOs and churches that can’t afford it?

They deserve it the most.

You see, we are a fresh, start-up nonprofit organization with 20 years of experience. NSG began as the nonprofit and church division of Jazz Business Consulting in 2006. During that time, we have worked with hundreds of nonprofit leaders and pastors, large and small organizations, start-ups and church plants, megachurches and denominations. And one-person enterprises.

We discovered many NPO leaders won’t reach out for assistance because they don’t think they can afford it. So in 2025, we decided to launch as a separate nonprofit to raise funding and assist leaders and organizations who could not afford our services.

Every great movement begins with a burden—and a bit of holy discontent.

For Roger Dill, that burden was watching good people with great missions struggle to survive simply because they couldn’t afford the kind of guidance that healthy organizations need. Nonprofit and church leaders were burning out, boards were spinning their wheels, and missions were losing momentum.

Roger had lived it himself. As a former pastor, executive director, and executive coach, he’d seen the inside of hundreds of leadership rooms—some vibrant and unified, others fractured and weary. He’d also walked through his own season of loss and redemption, learning firsthand that clarity, community, and grace can rebuild what once seemed beyond repair.

Out of that journey, Nonprofit Solutions Group (NPS Group) was born. Or actually, it was reborn.

NSG was formerly the nonprofit and church division of Jazz Business Consulting, which Jody Bagno and Roger founded twenty years ago. Originally called Jazz HeartBeat, it has
served hundreds of leaders and various nonprofit organizations, church congregations, and denominations.

NSG was created to equip and resource nonprofit and church leaders—especially those serving in underfunded or underserved spaces—so they can advance their mission with renewed strength and wisdom. Through coaching, consulting, assessments, and workshops, Roger and his team help leaders rediscover their rhythm and realign their organizations around their true purpose.

But NSG is more than just a consulting group. It serves as a bridge between generosity and transformation.

With support from donors and partners, Roger, Jody, and a team of coaches use NSG to provide world-class coaching and strategic assistance to organizations that might not otherwise have access to it.

Because when leaders are healthy, organizations flourish.

When organizations flourish, missions advance.

And when missions advance, heaven touches earth.
